Find a Good Entry Point or How to Buy Stocks to Increase Profits

Find a Good Entry Point or How to Buy Stocks to Increase Profits

A few stocks I own or plan to buy an initial position such as GLW provided a great opportunity today as the whole market ended down. I wrote on Friday last week that I wanted to add Lorillard (LO) to my positions but the trade would execute only if the stock goes higher. Today it Continue reading →

RAX on the move

Another excellent stock of a company making money, which also looks a bit resistant to market’s roller-coaster moves and volatility. This stock appeared on my screen list a few days ago (when it broke from its flat base on December 04, 2009) and it is still on the list. Today, when the creepy market overreacted Continue reading →

Visa added to portfolio

Visa (V) broke from a short, three week long consolidation today. It also reached my decision point for addition of a new position. Tomorrow morning I will buy additional 9 shares of Visa. This morning I have bought Visa at this price: 12/02/2009    09:31:08    Bought  9  V  @  83.05

RINO added to portfolio

Today I have bought RINO shares to my portfolio. However this trade extended my risk exposure over the limit. I will have to add more cash to the portfolio or sell some other stocks. FUQI and STEC do not act as I wish to see and they may be sold out soon. Let’s see what Continue reading →

Visa added to portfolio

Today I have bought more [tag]shares[/tag] of [tag]Visa[/tag] (V) as much as my [tag]money management[/tag] allowed to add. Per the plan I had (1) position to open available, so I decided to follow Visa and add more if the price turns upwards. It happened today morning, before the news about banks and [tag]credit[/tag] regulations came Continue reading →
