A few days ago I completed my Yakezie challenge! I broke thru 200k Alexa rank as it currently reads:
189,664
I would like to thank you all for helping me reaching this goal. This accomplishment however won’t stop me from striving to provide a better content about investing.
Congrats! I’m still working away as well, can’t wait to break 200k :)
Congrats on the breakthrough! 200k is nice hopefully you hit 100k in a few and keep up the great content on investing.
Nice work Martin. Quite the accomplishment. Keep dropping it and see where you can go.
Grayson, thanks. I’ll be pushing it lower…

Congratulation! That was quick!
Congratulations Martin! That is a huge accomplishment, much success going forward!
Wow that’s quite an accomplishment. I don’t think my little site even has an Alexa rank lol. Good job, keep it up.
CD
nicely done, but remember to maintain it when you’ll fill up the membership form.
SB, I will, my next goal is to push it below 100k
Great work mate! I’ll hopefully be there in a few months.
Well done and keep the good work up.
Congrats!! That’s a great accomplishment. I am planning on joining the challenge in July (I think I read they like to start twice a year?). Hopefully I follow in your foot steps and complete the challenge! Keep up the good work.
Maybe I should join the challenge too.
Congrats Marvin! I’ve considered giving the Yakezie challenge a try but thought it was more for personal finance sites where I’m more focused on investing. Have you found that completing the challenge has provided you with much benefit? Good job in your work.
Dan, it did. I think I learned a lot and I can see results in improving all my blog metrics, so although the Yakezie may be oriented more towards the PF, it was worth it doing it. Even if I do not take the membership, it still had a great impact to how to run the blog, act in a blogosphere, interact with others. I didn’t know all that stuff before and learned it during the challenge. I also gained a lot of confidence blogging. It was really worth the work (which at the very beginning looked very scary).
Congrats on completing the challenge! That’s a big accomplishment.
It is. It is also a lot of work. I never believed how much work you have to put in blogging. But it was worth it. I learned a lot.
Congratulations! Keep at it and see if you can drop your Alexa ranking even more. I think I’m stuck in the 130Ks right now. I could probably push it a bit lower, but I’m pretty overextended as it is right now.
That’s what I will be doing. I will try to go even lower.
Congratz Martin, great to see you completing it. Hopefully our team is helping to drive those numbers :-)
Irfan, I bet it is. Since joining the teams I saw a great jump in everything, pageviews, Alexa, likes in Facebook (185 new likes !!!) RSS subscribers… so the team definitely had an impact.
Congratulations on the ranking! That is really good. I’m still plugging away at it.
Greg, thanks. I bet you will crank it fast too. You are doing excellent job on your blog and it is great having you in our team. I enjoy reading it.
