The stock market entered a correction. All my positions turned down and sold off. It hurt my portfolio significantly again, or more then I wanted. Even though I collected 3.89% gain on sold positions (realized gain), the liquidation value of my portfolio is down. It indicates that my investing strategy is not as best as I thought. I had to adjust my trading rules a bit more and decided to limit opening new positions based on the existing positions. From now I can open new position only if the existing positions will be in positive territory. I also will have to adjust my trailing stop loss. I will be trailing it not only based on ATR value, but I will also use parabolic system to trail the stop loss to avoid stocks which do not grow (why to tie money to losing stock and waiting for its rebound, if the stock do not move up for some long period, it will be sold).
