Last week was turbulent, but ended up in positive territory. The Dow reached its new high for 2009 and many stocks rallied during this week, even though a week ago it seemed the market would enter a correction. Well it may happen. There is a lot of crooks predicting another catastrophe and crash out there, but I am trying to follow what the market is doing, not what those doom-predictors say. If they will be right, my stop loss order should get me out of the market, if they won’t be right I should e riding my stocks up. Well, those stocks which will be riding up. Stocks lacking the movement and/or momentum I will sell and keep only those which are heading to the stars.
It is hard to do however.
I have bought a few new stocks, but increased the risk of my portfolio to 7.31%. I need to provide more money or those stocks will have to move higher fast so my trailing stop loss order moves higher and the total risk will reduce. Or sell some stocks. However, Visa and MED are doing well, even RINO is trying to move higher, so soon this shouldn’t be an issue. FUQI is lacking a movement, or slowing down. It still has a momentum, so let’s see the next week. I might sell it if it stops acting better.
Another good thing is that last week I finally paid off one of my personal loans and now I have some free money for funding my investments accounts and pay my credit card debts. I will increase a balance on my trading account to 3,000 dollars and pay off my credit cards. Then I will be funding my ROTH IRA account.
